I have a feeling that it wasn't Cliff's first Lea Salonga concert and he knew that Lea was going to ask for a volunteer. During the concert Lea even said that she's done the same bit at other shows and it wasn't always with a great singer. When we were in New York last year, I made a point to catch Lea as Fantine in Les Mis, and she was great. I even got my picture with her after the show, but I had to be aggressive since she got bumrushed when the stage door opened. (Sorry, Lola!) Are you sure that Cliff guy wasn't a plant? Great review.
