Mosaic, thanks for the compliments. In all honestly, the concern that a lot of people have, Freddie Roach included, is that Manny may be too generous to a fault. If you want to look up someone in the past that was very generous with his earnings and gave “employment to so many people”, just do some research on MC Hammer.

Did anyone hear about Manny Pacquiao distributing 500 free turkeys to the first 500 families that come to the Park in Historic Filipinotown this coming Sunday ? He said he’s doing it to show appreciation to his Filipino/Filipino-American fans that have showed his so much support. Props to Manny !! And please Manny, “Paq Up Dela Hoya !! Paq Him Up !!!”

so yah, just saw the episode on HBO.com

i can see how they chose the poor parts of the philippines to create an emotional appreciation of Manny’s charitable contributions…

but yah, the whole Jinkee thing was so sad… even in her voice she sounds so depressed and reserved… like she has had to settle and accept that her life pretty much sucks…

for crying out loud, SHE has to take the elevator to see him… he don’t even make his way downstairs to be alone with her even for a few minutes…

finally saw this thing. the cameo by mickey “marv” rourke was a cute touch. though, yeah – that “magic mike” moment with jinkee was verrry weird-feeling.

i would’ve preferred to see manny sing “my way”, then bash the pulp out of one of his entourage boys for laughing at him.
