		<description>Hell yeah there was

Jeff from HBO was in the truck and after he got the necessary B-Roll he started helping us in the turkey conveyor belt.

They seem generally very fond of Manny and are amazed at all the responses he gets from the people.

And here&#039;s my 2-cents about 24/7...

You see a huge difference between the Golden Boys and Pacmans regiment.

Oscar is like boxing royalty. Finely polished, media savy, and has the resources to utilize the best technological advances, plush mountain training facililities, while receiving tutalage from the boxing gods. His business associates and partners are boxers he&#039;s fought and are considered some of boxings elite.

Manny is the complete opposite. Born from poverty but reaching world success he&#039;s clung on to what got him there. He&#039;s powered by, fried food, gambling, jokes, karaoke, and the weight of a nation on his shoulders. He cannot seperate himself from us. He&#039;s powered by us. At the same time everything we love about Manny&#039;s heart we fear can get him in trouble. The original &quot;Pound for Pound&quot; Champion Sugar Ray Robinson had the same problem.

I&#039;ve watched 24/7 religiously and I have to say that this is the best series yet. I&#039;ve been trying to observe some things from both camps and I saw Oscar getting caught by a Manny capable combination in the 2nd episode during the 12 round sparring session. If it goes down like it can and how I think Manny is going to focus his attack, then take a dvr to episode 2 to see what I&#039;m talking about.

<description>&quot;needy&quot;? no. pinoys, like all folks, just adore free stuff.

i mean, the dinnerware at sizzler, ihop, denny&#039;s, and hometown buffet might as well be free (as long as lola can stuff it in her purse without notice or incident). now am i right, or am i right? riiiight!

and that&#039;s why i can&#039;t question my filipino heritage - my immediate notice of free shit culminates in an immediate YOINK!

hell, i hear &quot;american adobo&quot; is a total turkey (and i haven&#039;t even seen it), but if someone offered me a free d.v.d. - YOINK!!

by the way, i would/will pay blood and kidney stones for an &quot;ARNIS: THE STICKS OF DEATH&quot; d.v.d. - but if were ever to come across a free bootleg? YOINK!!!</description>

<description>Also they were concerned about all the weight Manny would have handled (over 4 tons of turkey) so they were gonna have him just smile while we handed it out, but he insisted that he would do it personally.

I have lost all rationale and sensibility to consider the logic and reasoning the boxing gods have stated in the tale of the tape of the De La Hoya/Pacquaio match up.

After this weekend, catching a brief glimpse of what Manny is about, I&#039;m betting on the Heart of the People&#039;s Champ.

Brother is solid as steel

		<description>Team Manny Recap.

lol

Can’t believe I wrote that.

Christine and I had prepared to camp out at 8am. When we passed by, all we saw were a few local seniors cracking jokes and chillin like they were waiting for weekly rations. So we decided to roll to the house for Big Mama Concordia’s meat massacre breakfast and would walk there after.

As the Baron of Bonnie Brae I had to represent for the block and volunteered with Ernie, Christine, Emerson, John, Genesis, and Beverly. Props to Big Tamayo for that one.

Let me say this, I screamed like your older sisters at a New Kids on the Block Reunion Concert. I wanted to give Manny a bear hug and toss him in the air like a toddler while he giggled. I settled with being a member of Turkey Team Pacquaio and being shoulder to shoulder with him and Freddie.

Since I’m not home as often, it was a nice change from throwing and kicking your luggage in LGB to stacking turkeys for Manny to hand out and Freddie Roach helping us clear boxes. Let me say this Manny and Freddie are some of the most down to earth dudes and I tip my hat to them for doing this for the hood. Flips weren’t the only ones to receive turkeys, Manny hooked up everyone that came out.

Big ups to the cats that helped make it as orderly as possible by agreeing to take care of all the lolas and mamas first, while regulating ourselves from having a Wowowee stampeded.

After everything was said and done, we cleared the boxes and delivered several cases to the Penthouse. It looks just like it did on 24/7, which means a grip of people, KFC and puto on the kitchen table, homies playing darts for dough, and Manny singing La Bamba. Lol. I was grinning from ear to ear the whole day and continue to do so as I type.
