It stimulates the economy more than stuffing $700 billion in the pockets of bankers and buddies of Bush or giving trillions of tax cuts to millionaires or giving it to Chrysler or General Motors. If the government is going to have more debt and piss away some money, give some Filipino WWII veterans $200 million dollars and let them spend it.
