		<description>Yo Moonie,

You got it on point. HBO 24/7 has done an excellent job setting up the fight. The thing is, it&#039;s for a &quot;Pound for Pound&quot; showdown, between Manny Pacquaio and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

But before we go any further... I am currently cooking 600 lbs. of meat for Mama Leah’s Sweet Sixty @ El Dorado Park and the numerous Fight Night Fiestas with The Park’s Finest! If you Good with the Hood then Holla!

Reviewing the Tale of the Tape
Hatton has slight edges in height (+1&quot;) and fist size (+11/2). But other then that Manny Pacquaio comes out the larger man.

All though Hatton has faced larger opponents, the overall quality of competition goes into Pacman&#039;s favor.

Ricky Hatton is an excellent blue collar brawler/puncher with improved defenses and head movement. His ability to cut off the ring, corner, and bully Manny into 1-2 clinch situations are key to his success. Cutting the distance between himself and Manny is essential to this game plan so as to avoid stinging straight lefts and an over hand right.

Manny has shown considerable progress as a fighter and boxer. With a refined and developed understanding of ring work and punch sets, Manny has expanded his tool box with a potent right hook (think Mike Tyson&#039;s twisting short right) and improved head movement.

So who wins?

The key number in this match up is 2.

As great as Floyd Mayweather Sr. is as a Master of the Sweet Science, (and I do believe in his work and understanding of boxing) he has only been with Ricky Hatton for 2 fights out of 46. The discipline necessary to handle a Pacquiao offense and counter accordingly will be lost by Ricky by the 3rd round. Finding himself in a more familiar seek and destroy stance and approach. A game plan that Manny is more then willing to play a part in.

And if that is the case; look to see Ricky eat to many of Manny’s fists.

Pacquiao Win Round 5 KO

Throughout the series, Ricky Hatton took a back seat to the marketing soundbites of Floyd Sr (except for the occasional clips of his family and community back in the U.K.) and seemed fourth fiddle behind Manny, Floyd Sr., Roach, and only slightly ahead of Moore. I feel bad for the guy.

The thing that is so interesting, is the long standing disdain of the entire Mayweather Clan on Pacquaio as a Square Ring Warrior. Fight after fight, going as far back as Manny’s first win against Marco Antonio Barrera. Floyd Sr. has believed that Manny’s style and talent are sub par and not worth mentioning in the same breath as his son. Fight after fight Floyd has picked Manny to lose. Floyd Mayweather jr. has just signed on to fight Juan Manuel Marquez July 18th. It’s interesting that both pound for pound kings are facing their rivals previous opponent. A Super Dream Fight, never taken seriously will be assessed on how well they each do.

Either way, you know what we doing.
