Erika David sings God Bless America – FAIL!
August 24, 2009 · Posted in General
August 18, 2009. A day that will live in infamy. A day where Filipina American singer Erika David sang God Bless America for Filipino Heritage Night at Dodger Stadium and f-cked up royal. You can even see James Loney laughing during the clip.

Wow. That’s something special alright.
God bless America, land that I love.
Through the power, I like her, and the night with the light from above
From the Mountains, to the prairies, to the oceans, white with foam.
God bless America, my home sweet home.
God bless Amerca, my home sweet home.
Sounds just about right.
Did you know — the organist who accompanied Erika David was NOT Nancy Bea, but Keyboard Cat!
Wow, she really messed up. Sana Lupang Hinirang nalang kinanta nya baka tumama pa.
It is our understanding that ethnically Ms. David is either Hawaiian, Chamorro or, most likely, Spanish-Chinese-Jewish.
You see?! This is why proficiency in English as well as knowing this song and the “Star Spangled Banner” by heart should be compulsory. This country is going to pot otherwise! Wake up!!
The author is a sick human being who (from the what he/she wrote) seems actually entertained from Erika David’s embarrassing moment. I support Filipinos who take chances regardless of mistakes. She has bounced back from this mishap and I applaud her for her perseverance.
@Greg M.
It is obvious that your general understanding of anything is limited. Erika David is a Pinay. Also, why did you say, “It is OUR understanding…”
You represent morons not Filipinos. Only a low life like Greg M would attempt to ostracize a Filipina because she made a mistake? I support Filipinos who take positive chances regardless of their mistakes.
@L. Dobbs
You probably are not aware that you come across as a European-American bigot.
And so? You take pride seeing fellow Fiipinos f-cked up? It happens and it should not be a big deal. Making mistakes is a part of life, whoever you are and whatever your ethnicity is.
In this awesome scheme of things you’ll receive a B+ with regard to hard work. Where exactly you actually lost everybody was in all the details. As people say, details make or break the argument.. And it could not be much more true in this article. Having said that, let me tell you precisely what did work. The article (parts of it) is incredibly engaging and this is possibly the reason why I am making an effort in order to comment. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. Secondly, despite the fact that I can easily see a leaps in reasoning you come up with, I am not certain of how you seem to connect your details which help to make the final result. For right now I will subscribe to your position but Replica Philip Steinwish in the near future you actually connect your facts better.
Very good blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused .. Any tips? Thanks a lot!
