Saveur Magazine gets on the Filipino bandwagon
December 9, 2008 · Posted in Uncategorized
Food blogger Arnold Gatilao picked up the latest issue of Saveur magazine and was a bit surprised when he found an article dedicated to the holiday cuisine of Pampanga, Philippines.
Check out his blog at inuyaki.com for the details
The issue even features four Filipino recipes:
- Pinakbet (Philippine Vegetable Stew)
- Ensaimada (Philippine-Style Brioche)
- Adobong Manok (Chicken Adobo)
- Ulang Sa Gata (Prawns in Cocount Milk)
Big thanks to Arnold for tracking this one down.

Good thing they’re recipes we’re not embarrassed about.
Deep fried is not on the list. Good.
Now that we’re on a topic of food, here’s something that’ll make (or break) your day:

Nice feature. And even better so considering there aren’t multiple photos in the publication of the editor at any parties or events.
I want to express some thanks to the writer just for rescuing me from such a condition. Just after surfing around through the search engines and seeing proposals that were not beneficial, I assumed my entire life was done.
